MultiRes in Max not supported?

In the exporter matrix located here, there is a big red box for support of MultiRes in Max 6/7.

I have successfully exported characters and shapes using multires into the Torque ShowTool Pro. Both the characters and shapes also load in game, but I have not tested their LOD component.

So my questions are, is the exporter matrix wrong? Does max 6/7 support multires for LOD? Does the ShowTool accept multires for some reason while the game engine does not?

Multires is supported though it depends on the build of the Exporter that you get and who made it. For the most part the exporters referenced by Garage Games do support and use MultiRes.

Personally I have not had any problem in Max 6 or 7 with Multires. The only catch is to use the unmessdts utility.
