Alpha Channel Question

I have some fake volumetric beams coming out of my spotlights that are made from little cylinders with a fading png from white to clear on the end. But, for some reason, every model I export to the engine has little lines on the tips of the clear area right where the model's edge is. Any solutions?

Turn off the option entitled "tile bitmap" for both the U and V direction in your 3D programs material. What you are seeing is a tiling artifact.
