Free Grenade if you can get it to DTS

I created "BOUNDS" but upon export there was "no data." I am a musician messing with art, so beware. I followed the tutorial, but nothin. I had the right exporter and everything.
....blah, blah blah....fixed now...generating free grenades for everyone's use.

From the Customize menu choose Units setup
Select the System Unit Setup button
Set 1 unit to = 1 meter and press Ok
Under Display Unit Scale select the Metric radio button and set it to meters, then press Ok
2. Rescale your model. Your grenade is about 60 meters tall right now. My first character model probably could have thrown it cause I didnt setup my units either :).
3. Add a box that completely encompases your model, then name it bounds
4. Add a detail resolution:
Select grenade
Press renumber selection and type in 2
5. Select the grenade and click embed shape
I dumped the max file and the dts to here
I didn't rescale it just got it to work.
Like Billy said take a look at the simpleshape tutorial. The simpleshape tutorial is located here: http://www.garagegames.com/docs/torque/general/ch08s03.php

I tried the simple shape tutorial, but your instructions make more sense to me. Thanks for your help guys. I will rescale it, try this and give everyone a grenade. :)

(Again, musician learning 3D art...thanks for giving me pointers as I learn.)

I do indeed. So is there a setup to get the radio buttons permanently in view? Or do I have to select them from a drop down menu? I know where "export" is...but where would I find the exporter utility.(Again, musician learning 3D art...thanks for giving me pointers as I learn.)

There are links at the bottom of the page depending on what modelling package you are using.
Download the plugin and put it, appropriately enough, in your plugin directory.
When your fire up Max go to the utilities panel (the one with the icon that looks like a hammer).
Open the utilities rolldown
Click on the "configure button sets" button
Increase the total buttons by one and a new button will be created
Drag the DTS Exporter Utility from the left to the new button and click ok
Now in the utilities panel you will have a button called "DTS Exporter Utility"
Click on that button and you will see the exporter options, etc.

Thanks again. I already had the plugin in there, just not the utility primed. All makes perfect sense now. Got two grenades into Torque. Yay! Now the question is, would these grenades be worth it to anyone without collission?

You never know, people might want to use them as examples to compare against their own starting projects to make sure they have their stuff setup properly. Adding collision to them is a simple enough matter.

If it's that simple, I will just read how to do it and then post the grenades with it in the Freebies section.
Torque 3D Owner Billy L
Then apply some detail information and collision if you want that.
Add the bounding box and export.
Try the simple shape tutorial.
