Scripting Fixed Camera Path

Hi all,
Please bear that I am a totally newbie so please forgive me if this question sounds really dumb. What should I do if I would like to modify the starter.fps to have a pathed camera? I've checked the forums, and found http://www.garagegames.com/mg/forums/result.thread.php?qt=24914 , also tried the trq.base tutorial (borrowing from the pathed bot tutorial example). From the forum that I listed above, someone mentioned that some changes could be applied to demo\server\scripts\scene.cs and demo\client\scripts\sceneGui.cs. I've checked on the last block of scene.cs (path camera block). How can I applied this block of code to the starter.fps? Any hints?
