Vehicle troubles - Wheels offsetting from hub nodes

Hello all.

Ive been working on a video tutorial that covers vehicle animation. Something odd is happening with the model Im using for the lesson though. The wheels on the right side are being mounted away from where they should be. Here are some screen shots to help explain.

The first shot shows the wheels on the left side of the atv. Thats how they are supposed to look. The second shot is from the right side. As you can see, they are being mounted with an offset. Its odd, cause in ShowTool Pro the hub nodes are where they are supposed to be. And if I mount the wheels in STP, everything looks fine. Its just in the game itself.

If this was just for me, Id offset the hubs in max and have that be that. Since this is detailing the process for the benefit of everyone else, though, I want to make sure that its not something Im doing wrong.

Has anyone seen anything like this before? Or does anyone need any more information to be able to pinpoint whats going wrong here?

Sorry to bump... but does ANYONE have any ideas of what could be causing this?

And of course, as soon as I post a bump, I figure it out on my own. The problem was with the bounding box. Its pivot was offset slightly on the x axis.

Hey Juan. I would love to be able to help you, but I think that in order to get the players hands to move left and right on the handle bars you need to do a bit of coding. Unfortunately, I dont really know how to write code. Sorry.

Anyone else know how to do this?
