Torque Game Blockland shown on The ScreenSavers (G4TechTV)

Watching The Screensavers tonight they showed a free game for people to play called Blockland.
They did mention Torque and Garagegames in the episode, they also plan to use the game in a future ScreenSavers LAN Party.

HOLY...WOW. THIS GAME IS FRIGGIN AWESOME! I recommend any lego fan to play this...it's pretty nice! Plus, it looks like a great learning experience for Torquers

In all seriousness... this is an interesting use of Torque and showcases some unique code for the placement, and coloring of the individual "blocko" bricks.
I do remember the eary shots of the models used and hadn't realized how far along Eric had gotten. His RPG project seems to have some nice features also.

I think this game needs a bit more. Maybe some built your own vehicle, legos? :D?!

Creativity can go a long way. There is a LOT that can be learned from this game by most of the people here on GG.

I downloaded it earlier in the week and just got to play it this weekend. It's taken me away from Phantom Brave, Growlanser Generations, Suikoden 4, and Resident Evil 4. It's great of fun, which is more than I can sat for the other games listed (other than RE4, which I love). Thanks!

EDIT: Age of Time (the rpg hes working on also) is very impressive... the character creation video is amazing.
