Will .X files work with Torque or do they need converted?

Hey all,
I've already purchased most of the available art from garagegames so I''ve been looking around for art outside the gg community and was wondering if the Darkmatter bundles from http://darkmatter.thegamecreators.com/ would work with Torque or if they are not compatible. I don't know if their licensing allows for conversion if it's needed or not.
If anyone know please let me know. I've still have some funds in my art budget.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks David. My next questions then is ... what would I need to use to convert them? Milkshape?

Well. The .X format is a compiled format, so while you can get triangle etc information from a .X mesh you will not be able to effectivly use this if you need to animate it and such. It will be a total pain, you need the source art for it.

I know for a fact gameSpace can open .x...not sure about Milkshape though...

Ultimate Unwrap3d and Milkshape is your best bet. They are low cost and you can do alot with both programs. A couple of clicks and the model is in .dts format mainly as a static shape. To take them and animate them is a little bit more time consuming. DarkMatter has both x and 3ds files. We found that loading the 3ds file into Milkshape to be easier.edited for spelling

Thanks guys! I suck at animation and modeling so I'm having to rely on what I can buy. Looks like I'll be grabbing Darkmatter and trying my luck then.
