Girl Pack, MilkShape, Trigger Problem

I purchased the Girl Pack and have learned a million and one things about modelling and animation that I've not read anywhere else.
One problem I'm having is with the Triggers. The pre-exported girl leaves footprints in Torque just as expected. When I tried to export the girl from MilkShape, she doesn't leave footprints.
I have the latest MilkShape exporter, I click on the run sequence, hit "Edit", and under "Triggers", I hit "Add" twice. I edit the first one (Trigger0), put Frame 70 and State 1, then Frame 80, State 2 for Trigger1.
First of all, the states increment after (during?) export. Because of this, I've also tried Frame 70/State 0 and Frame 80/State 1 (with the intent that they will eventually be State 1 and State 2 during export). That didn't work either.
As a last resort, I tried putting the triggers in the root animation. That didn't work.
Has anybody got triggers working in MilkShape and how did you do it?

Yes, they work! DTSPlus! supports triggers, vertex weighting, & more...

NB: I tested with my copy of BT's "Jill" Girl Pack. Even got rid of some extraneous Nodes the supplied .DTS shape & Ms3d file contain. There are quite a few Nodes going on inside tiny Jill....lol; many not seemingly needed in the Milkfarm. I don't understand the Object Detail number ones and a seemingly useless 3 Joint chain...eh? More than enough raw material there.

Yep. Just checked. Footstep/footpuff triggers work fine.NB: I tested with my copy of BT's "Jill" Girl Pack. Even got rid of some extraneous Nodes the supplied .DTS shape & Ms3d file contain.
