Terrain Texture Painter...

Does this work at all in the current build? I tried to paint a simple map and nothing would update in real time. The brush just moved around and nothing happend. It was only after I had saved the map and then reloaded that my changes showed up.

I seem to be having a similar problem. Here's what's happening.

Specs:

WinXP Pro SP1
GeForce FX 5500 256MB w/latest drivers from nvidia.com as of last Sunday version 66.93
DX-9c SDK
Latest HEAD of TSE downloaded and compiled last Sunday.

When painting on the terrain, the texture won't change unless I do a save and then reopen the mission, also re-lighting the mission will work as well.

Terrain modifications such as flattening, excavating, etc all work fine.

Same results with debug and release compiles.

If I need to provide more info, please let me know.

TSE texture painter has not been heavily tested, since it'll be replaced as part of the terrain rewrite. There are probably bugs in it.

I had that problem somtime with the lighting pack ..have you tried to relight scene that fixes it for me so i dont have to reload...i think it has somthing to do with blender needing the scene relit for alpha blending so the terrain colors will be proper in correct lighting...or somthing..what do you think Ben?
