Environment Maps

I'm using 3ds max 6 and although I can set an object to use environmental mapping, it only seems to use the environmental texture as defined for the skybox regardless of what I define in the material editor.
Is it possible for an object in TGE to have an environmental map other that the one defined for the skybox?

Adam is correct. By default environmental mapping that is placed on your DTS model is based on the image defined in the skybox DML file. If you want your object to actually reflect what is around it in the game world you would need to use a shader such as what you will find in TSE>

Does it matter whether I put a map in the reflection slot or not? Or should it work as long as the reflection box is checked? I've only been able to get it to show up when I export the Demo Buggy. When I export one of my own cars, the e-mapping doesn't show up. Do I need to add detail nodes?
