I think he refering the chicken to your models, basiclly saying your models are crap, but they are ok. How long did they take you?

Yeah, that joke took a while for me to understand, too. BUT, here is my rubber chicken... Time to complete: 15-40 seconds (Thank you quickslice!). I should have melted it a bit, but that would have taken too much time/energy. Enjoy!

I would suggest practicing more before giving away models. (I do appreciate your generosity, though)

Also, the giants could be .dts and so could the bridge. The planks should be alpha-ed, too.

Funny! Well i suppose he has singlehandedly revamped the enitire game making industry so there prolly is not any reason for anyone else to try then. All i wanted was to learn a little something and if there was a decent texture in there, which there were, then someone could use is. Wasn't looking for this as a carrer. WAS trying to have some fun and learn something. I'm too old to listen to insults instead of MAYBE some decent instruction or suggestions. Well i will just keep on keeping on and figure it out on my own.

Way to go down in a blaze of glory. *cough* *cough*

Seriously, I gave you tips. Now, all that's left to determine is what you meant by 'tips'. It could mean what it says: tips, or it could be what you want to hear.

Well its just that this might not be the apropriate venue for what i was trying to do. I will just find a diferent way to show my progress. Will prolly just make a web site dedicated to my efforts and that way i am not clogging up the boards here with my stuff. I do apreciate your comments and suggestions George. So far you are one of the few that actually does give good feedback. Just seems to me that I may need some more work. Besides this isnt the thread for this. I am also really not in the mood for flames. Been involved with this kinda stuff too long to sit and listen to a bunch of flames when all i wanted was some feedback without the smart @ss comments. All this not directed at your or anyone else that has been helpfull. I will still be around in other threads. Thanks so far for all the help.

Hmmm...that rubber chicken is of terribly low quality. It looks more like a lead goose.

Don't insult people who come out to give free stuff. Even if you don't like their stuff? As John says, even if there's one good texture in there, it can be worth it.

And if a piece of art isn't that good, people just won't use it, you don't need to publicly crap on it. I didn't see John's art so I have no idea what it looked like, but if a piece of art isn't good, people just won't use it. There's no need to publicly crap on it. If you don't like a piece of art, and you feel the need to talk about it, offer constructive criticism of it and pointers on how to improve. Otherwise, simply do not post.
