Caligari GameSpace (SOLD)

by Joshua Dallman · in Artist Corner · 01/22/2005 (10:20 pm) · 13 replies

Last summer I purchased a copy of GameSpace planning to learn modeling, but found that there were those much more talented at it than me that I could hire at a reasonable cost so I don't need it anymore (I think I fired it up only once).

I know I should be asking Calgari the question, but they have a vested interest in saying "no" regardless of what the real answer is, so I thought I'd post it here:

Does anyone know if I can I sell my copy of GameSpace? Or is it destined to collect digital dust on my hard drive? ShowTool Pro has pretty much taken over my needs for model displaying...

People have sold trueSpace before, so I see no reason why you can't sell gameSpace. And Caligari would have told you this, they ain't that bad ;)

I didn't think it would be a problem, but you can't sell TGE for example so I thought I'd check. Well then, I guess I'll edit this to be a "GameSpace for sale" thread.

Name: Josh Dallman
Order Date: 8/16/04
Products:
- gameSpace1.5 Downloadable for (9)
- Level Exporter for gameSpace Downloadable for ([[4fc32639543c4]])
- proTeam KFE Animation Course for ([[4fc32639543c4]])
- proTeam Polygon Modeling Course for ([[4fc32639543c4]])

I paid $269 last summer for it and it's downloadable. I have no idea how to use it and already uninstalled it from my hard drive. I just checked and you can download the upgrade to 1.6 (the latest) for free.

Make an offer to joshuadallman@mailblocks.com if interested...

Yes, you can unload your license; first you must contact Caligari to make sure the new licensee is registered to be able to redownload any resources allowed the original holder of the license....

What's this?!? FULL PRICE?!?

Why would we buy it from you when we can get it directly off of their website for the same amount of money?

Actually it's $300 on the caligari website plus $50 for the level exporter, I made sure to buy it when it was on sale. So it's $350 in merch -- I showed the prices above just to play nice and show what I paid for it, not what it's selling for.

But yeah, "make an offer..." :)

I checked the pricing. You're right, it is $300. The level exporter (.dif) is only $20 though.
