This should bring up the console, which gives you information about what's going on behind the scenes. Does it print any error messages in the console? Also, what operating system do you use (windows, linux, mac)?

What's your graphics card? Do you have the most current drivers for the card? What version of Windows are you using?

in your directory though, check console.log with a text editor, and paste about the last 10 to 20 lines in the files here.

What do you mean by "doesn't work"? As in it won't load at all? I had that happen to me a while back.....and my specs are prob a tad bit crappier than yours (1.5 gHz). What happened was that the console window came up, but the game itself wouldn't load...forgot what I did though X___Xin your directory though, check console.log with a text editor, and paste about the last 10 to 20 lines in the files here.

Do you have current drivers?
Try running the app in Direct X mode, instead of the default Open GL mode
p.s. Torque 'can' run on my 500mhz comp with a gforce 3 so the computer isn't the issue I'd presume the drivers are

Odd since the GG demo's aren't very complex either. I know quite a few people have similar problems and I don't think it's drivers as I check for new drivers at elase biweekly.
I do have a nforce motherboard and I noticed that in other similar topics quite a few people with issues had a athlon and nforce motherboard, might that be the problem?

Most torque stuff is slow on my computers too, and I have a geforce 3 and athlon system. Funily enough on the TSE car demo, the most basic rendering mode is slower than the shader versions and I get rhythmic stutters every couple of seconds, something that doesn't happen in any other engine I have used recently.Odd since the GG demo's aren't very complex either. David, I had a similar problem with the Demo. Its like the demo is trying to start in full-screen but something messes it up. To solve it I managed to run the demo in window mode. When you start Torque goto Options then Graphics, untick Fullscreen then hit apply. Its a bit weird as I bought Torque and that runs fine fullscreen, just the demo that has this "strange" effect.

One of my comps is 1g Duron with gforce2 32 mb and the TGE demo runs really smooth on xp pro.
You must have the wrong drivers installed or really bad ones !

Do you have a NVidia card? If so, did you use the drivers that WindowsUpdate recommends? If so, go download the actual latest drivers and stop using the crappy compatability mode ones.
David
i cant use it it keeps flashing and stuff
