Lighting

This was originally a post i made on the lighting forumn as i thought it was the synapse lighting pack that casued the problem....
When i use the foilage rep(prior to the update as i prefer it) the lighting never affected the billboards and for the most i wanted this. However when i ue my own billboards, they either apear very very bright, or dark - not just how the texture looks in my texture maker, or when i am viewing them from windows. On some models... where there are a few billboaded parts - parts are bright and part are dark...Is there anyway i can disable light properties for a dts object - so no lighting at all affects them?
