Gui tuts?

Im wondering is there anywhere that i can learn on how to make good looking gui windows and how to make them work? i have the 3d game programming book but that doesn't go into the detail i need. if anyone can help me that would be jsut great

F1 or the credit menu will have all the ingame documentaion for the GUI editor

Click on my name, I have two tutorials there. I'm not sure what level of instruction you are needning, so check them out and let me know if they helped you at all or if you need more advanced or what. Not knowing what your current skill level is with GUI's makes it hard to recommend anything beyond starting with the two I put together. They don't tell you how to make them look good, but the teach you various ways to make them operate well and give multiple examples to build from.

Thanks for the help but i have decided to do my gui in xml (i personally find it easier) but thanks for the help
