Can the Torque engine handel buildings that are models instead of archi of the landscape? I know that would possably hurt the frame rate but would it rid the need of useing portals? Im just asking because I have a team ready to go and as soon as the engine is for sale we are starting on a MMORPG.

It is? I must have looked at an old page by accident... Oh well I found it. Anyway I'm not shure if anyone in my team knows how to use worldcraft as this is our first 3d game. All our other games have been 2d zelda like games or space shooters nothing really good.

As for buildings without portals, you COULD do some shapes with simple collision, but they wont be anywhere as near as efficient OR work as well as geometry done in a quake map editor (the shapes just arent meant for that).
Why is it a problem to use worldcraft?
