Murderous holes in levels

I'm wanting to create a plane within the level where everything below it dies. How should I go about creating the death plane of the level? *I mean... player falls too far below surface and just... dies then respawns at starting location*

Add a zone of some kind beneath holes - if they enter the zone they die.

Just make a large trigger box under the plane and use a player kill function... Same as mike said really...
