Looking for the help files?

If you're running the Version 1.0 Dec 23 build in Windows land, and you click on Help --> Contents, you will get an error popup saying "The file /C:/Program cannot be found. Please check the location and try again."

The problem is that the Help --> Contents menu item is trying to follow a directory path with a space in it.

The file that Help --> Contents is trying to open is
C:\Program files\TorqueShowToolPro\docs\index.htm. You can get around the problem by bookmarking either:
file:///c:/program%20files/TorqueShowToolPro/docs/index.htm
(all on one line -- that's a %20 in there) or
file:///c:/progra~1/TorqueShowToolPro/docs/index.htm

This is a minor thing, not worth a new SW rev by itself. Perhaps Ed or Josh can tell us which .cs file to hack - er, edit to fix the problem in TSTPro?

Greetings Ray!

That's interesting. What version of Windows are you using? I'm running WinXP Pro SP1 here and haven't run into this.

I'll be sure to add this pathway into the preferences file for the next release so that you may change it if you need to. Right now, you don't have access to this pathway.

Hi Dave!

I've been meaning to email you privately and tell you just how cool TSTPro is, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. You know, this SW package would be a bargain at twice the price, it's that useful. I keep TSTPro open all the time while I'm working on a model or a skin, because it's so simple to switch to TSTPro, reload the model or skin and instantly see the result of my changes. It would be a Good Deal at twice the price. I've recommended it to everybody at HTI.

Okay, lemme see here ... I'm running WinXP Home SP2 (build 2600). Ah-HAH! no, waitaminnit. Is it Home vs. Pro, or SP1 vs. SP2 ("we're here to help") that's causing the problem? I dunno. Putting it in prefs is a good idea.

Best regards
Ray
