I was wondering if there's a group of programmers here who want to help GarageGames make the V12 better in terms of tools. I have written Maya and 3dsmax Exporters before and I would lend a hand in that area. I suggest that the fileformats that V12 uses be open so that people with experience in writing exporters for Lightwave, Maya, 3dsmax, Sumatra, Blender, q3radiant, etc can lend a hand.

wouldn't Q3radiant need some sort of license from id to be used? just a thought, it would be nice though as that is what i am familiar with.

i dont think radient would work the way the levels are made are totally different, V12 has repeating terrain with portals(i think) for the structure while Q3 uses BSP. Hey dont forget to make a Max4 plugin, cant tell me i bought this cool new program and ccant use it =)

IIRC, every Quake engine to date uses BSPs for sorting and portals for cluster-cluster visibility.
