GG IRC community dead?
by Mike Stoddart · in General Discussion · 12/24/2004 (10:43 am) · 12 replies
Whatever happened to the IRC servers at maxgaming? The first one listed doesn't exist and the GG channel in the second is always empty. Did I miss something or has IRC gone out of favour with the GG community?
Thanks

Mike - You may have old settings in your IRC Client. The maxgaming server changed its server naming about 9 months or more ago, but you'll find about 30-50 GGer's in the channel on average. Lots of scripting, model and general ideas fly constantly.

Yea I tried to get on irc about 3 months ago a few times and never could so gave up. I saw everyone still mentioning irc all the time, so I assume those are wrong and they've never bothered to update them?
