I also am haveing trouble with the car pack but i do have the script files added.
My problem is that i get the dos box and another game window on my task bar like it is loading up torque but thats it.
Any ideas would be great.
O, no errors in console and i am running windows 2000 server.

Wayne, tell me if Im understanding you correctly. When you launch Torque the game window just hangs? If thats the case, Id go back and double check that all the .cs files and ammendments to existing files are done correctly. That kind of stuff happens to me all the time; I forget one little bit that turns out to be critical. :)

Lol dont know why it double post but anyway , i get 2 windows, kinda, one is the normal dos box the other should be the game with the game gui but it doesint pop up, i can see it on the task bar like it is minimized but when i right click to go to maximize it just moves my mouse cursor to left hand side of screen so i do it agian and mouse moves to same place. Some other game that was done with torque does kinda the same but at least i can right click on it and click maxamize and it comes up.

Try alt-enter to get the window to go to full screen mode. Some compilation flags combined with some desktop settings (and I've never figured out what actually causes it) can cause you to enter in windowed but minimized mode. Normally full screen toggle (alt+enter) makes the window show up and work properly.

Of course, this may not be your problem either, but it's worth a shot!

Well, its not just the lighting pack code, becouse i tryed normal torque same version but without the lighting pack and it does the same thing on the racing game.

Glad it worked! Sometimes it's just the little things you don't expect, like that one. Have seen that a couple of times with different configs in the last several months, figured it was worth a shot!

BTW, you are double posting because you are refreshing the window in which you submitted your first post (I think), instead of refreshing the message thread itself.

Haha Wayne, this double posting thing makes it sound like you're a robot. It's awesome. :)

That happens when a person refreshes the page to check for new replies, which causes the post to be submitted to the server again.

The solution is to go back to the forum category, then follow the link to the thread you posted in, then refresh the page as and when you need to.
