Well I've been working on a little project called AIMovingInterior. Yes thats right Moving Interiors that follow paths. No, this is not like PathedInteriors.
The idea came from boats that are in EQ and WoW.
Here is an AVI of a slightly older version of the AIMovingInterior in action.

Anyway, I would like to release this as a true resource for you all, but I don't have any real interiors I would like to demo it with. I am not a modeler, quark is like a 4 letter word to me.
So I am asking if someone could make me a simple boat interior with a couple of cabins or levels.
Note: The interior must have zones.
EDIT: Forgot, it could also be a blimp style interior as the path is 3D.
So the sooner I can get a boat DIF, the sooner I can create a resource for you all. Untill then, enjoy the video.

Simon, use hammer it's much easier than quark IMHO. I can make you one if you wish, programmer art but at least it should work. Contact me and tell me what you need.

Are you aware of Topic: Moving around INSIDE vehicles? Thread?
Ben Garney posted some code for attaching models to interiors. The idea I had (and I believe the other's in the thread) was to attached an interrior inside a DTS object. That way you could get shadows and all the goodness of a DTS with the ease of an interrior.
hope that helps and I am very much looking forward to this resource!

Simon, that's awsome. It could be a little smoother, but it's very cool. I think you should release the resource without a test interior. Just tell people to use the interiors that come with Torque.

back to work..
I was prefering a boat or blimp, so that I could put a demo/resource together properly instead of half-ass.
In response to some of the comments above. I've a coder, not a modeler. I do not know Quard, nor Hammer. The time it would take for me to lean them, a real modeler could of done it for me, is also waisted time for me because I could of been coding the next feature.
In response to those who have offered. Thank you, it is appreciated.

Ok, Holidays are now over. I was prefering a boat or blimp, so that I could put a demo/resource together properly instead of half-ass.

@Simon: I made a simple boat for you, but I need your email address to send it your way.
Torque Owner Josh Albrecht
And those people who DO know how to use Quark probably dont care too much about code for moving interiors.
My suggestion would be for you to learn how to use Quark (or Hammer, which is a 6 letter word) and create a very simple boat object. I've made some simple things with those editors before, and I bet it would be a oood learning experience for you.
I would, but I dont particularly care about AI Interiors myself. I just want more features to be added by other community member because it improves the experience for us all.
Either way, good luck!
