Player statistics display

A feature idea occured to me as I was playing tonight. It would be *great* if, instead of just a score, we could also see the number of kills and the number of deaths each player has.

This information, and more, is tracked in the stats.

I meant for the end of the match, when the scoreboard is displayed.. All it has is a rundown of the teams, the members of each team, and each members score; no kills or deaths listed. (Unless this is gametype dependent, or if I just havent noticed them at the end of the matches)

We definitely want to do more detailed stat tracking. Personally, I'd like to see Worms-style awards given out at the end of matches. That's the sort of thing we'll probably see a lot more of in the next version...

Woohoo!! Worms being one of my all-time favorites, I totally agree on the awards idea. That'd be something!

What's up with the stats anyway? They aren't being updated.

They only get tracked if there are 6+ registered users in a game to prevent exploiting. This will probably need to get fixed though.

I noticed that as well.. after playing a few games on a stats-enabled server, I checked the lists to see if I had registered. I was on the board, but everything read as zeroes. Do particular matches have to qualify somehow for stats to be recorded?

Registered = paid for ZAP!. (eg, non [Guest] users)
