Griefers

Scum of the earth. They exist for every game. Tonight, on the TWPsycadelic server, a guy named cneal was spamming 'This is gay' extremely fast through the chat. It was in different capitalizations every 5 lines or so, so it must've been some kind of macro. He did this for about 5 minutes before I simply left, so i'm not sure how long it continued. It didn't neccesarily affect the gameplay, but it affects the experience. No one wants to have to deal with this sort of thing. Is there anything that can be done about these people who want to ruin things for other players?

** See the "Zap spammer/flooder" post, for anyone who happens to be reading this thread.

I haven't had too much trouble with spawn camping. Just move as you're spawning and you'll probably survive it. If it's an issue, it should be a simple thing for the developers to make a spawn area instead of a specific spawn point. If that isn't enough, consider making people invulnerable for a few seconds after spawn.

Spawn campers are playing by the rules like everyone else, and most are probably doing it with the intent of winning. If this is annoying, the best fix is to change the rules so that it isn't effective.

I dont think spawn camping is a problem because it isnt very effective unless there is only one spawn point (like wormholes, I love jumping into a wormhole to escape, then blasting them as they come through :) )

Also, you have shields, so just use them when you spawn and you'll be fine.

I agree that I haven't had too many problems with spawn campers. I should point out though, this is entirely map dependent. There are one or two maps which spawn people in at the center point of the map, and these are the only times when you have the possibility of getting zapped immediately after spawning, although usually its not because someone is intentionally sitting there.

Flood protection will be in the next build, fyi.
