Blender for newbies

by Tobias Rosenbaum · in Torque Game Engine · 12/12/2004 (8:14 am) · 4 replies

Hi there!

I started to play around with the Torque engine, and now I want to import my own blender modell.

Right now, I created a very basic modell, added a few bones and created a walk animation.
But I'm not sure how to improve the modell, and which of blenders features are usable by the Torque enigne?

Maybe someone could send me an "expert" modell, so I might have a look at it and find our how to do a really good modell.

Thanks in advance
Tobias

Hi again!

It seems that I to stupid to set up blender.
I have installed Python 2.34, made the environmental variable
SET PYTHONPATH=C:\PROGRAMME\PYTHON23;C:\PROGRAMME\PYTHON23\DLLS;C:\PROGRAMME\PYTHON23\LIB;C:\PROGRAMME\PYTHON23\LIB\LIB-TK

While the errormessage I had before (no installed python found, only built in modules available) disappeared, it seems the dts exporter is missing in the File\export menu, even though I set the proper path and copied all the scripts inside.

Do you have any idea what I've done wrong?
Thanks in Advance!
Tobias
