OK, I got back from cricket and this is still going, so I was quite excited. Downloaded and installed, no problems. Browsed the readme file, then jumped on in.
(the following is typed in the form, me talking to myself)

Uh oh, I'm in the deep end straight up ... takes me a few seconds to figure the keys out, no problems. I'm dieing at an alarming ratio without killing very many people at all. I have no idea how any of these special features work (boosts, shield etc). I'm on a team, but I seem to be of zero use to them. I like the arrows pointing which way to go. Banging into the walls makes a sound, what does this mean? Does it hurt me? What IS that bar in the bottom left? Their appears to be text at the top, but its going way to fast for me to understand anything but someones joining and exiting the game.
Time to exit and read the readme again (and have a pizza).
Ahh, right click gives me the special feature. Still cant figure out how to choose which feature it gives you though. The readme obviously isn't idiot proof, as this idiot was a little confused.
I think I've got it so join back up again. Wait a minute, I'm yellow, everyones yellow ... am I on a team? Quickly figure out that this is some sort of solo play where you collect flags and get to a base to unload them. I am getting killed at a ratio of about 20 - 1 ... if I'm lucky. OK I suck, lets just concentrate on getting the aiming right, and holding down right click gives me the shield. Thats enough for me to work on for the meantime. Damn it, my average survival time seems to be about 10 seconds. Lets find some empty area and try to ambush people while I try and sort out this aiming.
The screen has gone yellow all over and there are scores all over the screen [takes a screenshot], maybe I hit the tab button, I remember that did the scorelist I think. [presses tab] Hmm, I've respawned, maybe I died while those scores were all over the screen.
I think I'm getting the hang of the aiming a bit better, maybe only dieing at a ratio of 10-1 now. I like it when someone dies and all the flags go everywhere. I've managed to collect about 10 by some fluke, ok, I should try and get this to a ... damn someone shot me. I swear some guy Bill is just waiting for me to spawn for an easy kill ... he can smell my fear.
What the ... screen has done the yellow thing again ... quick press tab before I die again. Hmm, respawned again, I swear I didn't die that time. Oh well time to exit, print that screenshot in photoshop in case its actually useful (its probably not - but did they really intend for the screen to go all yellow?) ... [exits]

ok, thats my first two time playing. I sucked, and I'm going to have a coffee and get out of my cricket gear and shower (yes I was so excited I played straight away when I got home) ... and I'll read the readme again. I still don't know how to do the boost, and other non shield related features.

Really really enjoy the team aspect of going around all the zones protecting your guy with the flag. Once you get the hang of it, its great fun :)
