Problem on Mac OS X

I can't get the game to start. I downloaded the game, decompressed it, and double-clicked ZAP. It started bouncing in the dock, but then disappears.

You can change it to run in a window in the options menu. The next version should have better support for the sort of input you're describing.

So, the consensus is I have to download OpenAl?
Now, I develop games myself and might download it to give it a spin, but the average user surely won't and will probably demand a refund. Why not make the game run without additional downloads....?
cheers,
Dan

I am having a different problem that seems to pertain to having controllers plugged into the usb ports. I have had Zap just bounce in the dock and refuse to start numerous times until I unplug my usb mouse or my Logitech Dual Action controller. Once I unplug them it loads right up. I can get it to work with my controller by unplugging it and then plugging it in again before I start the game. I know that isn't a really easy problem to track down but if you have any ideas let me know.thanks,
Brandon
