Help with interior objects

Hey all,
I'm trying to create a level without a terain wich I did but I am having a problem with the graphics bleeding out at a short distance.

I realize the engine does this on purpose to cut down on the overhead but my levels are small and there not going to be all that long so I really don't need it to do that.

Ive noticed other games like Marble blast don't do it as bad and was wondering what it was called so I can better research it.

Thanks,
Charlie

Bleeding out? Can you show a screenshot?

Ok sory bleeding out is not the right term. It's been a long day. fading away is a better term.
Here's what I mean. I changed the background to black to get a better idea:

EDIT: It's the holiday! go home Ben!

Thats normal Charlie, the routine that does the MIP mapping is...err... not the best. You'll find the effect is less pronounced if you increase the resolution or scale of the texture. If its at 1 at the moment change it to 0.5
This 'effect' is less noticable when there are lots of surfaces around, it stands out when there is nothing to distract the eye.

EDIT: No bumping unless the thread is a week or more old, that won't make you popular!
