How does this look for a startup screen

I would go with bitmapped buttons on the left in the same font as the rest of your screen (though a different color, so they stand out)

I agree -- I like it, but also agree you should go with bitmapped buttons. Since the buttons already look like signs, why not go all out and make them look like wood-textured signs?

Also, I'm getting banding on my view of the screen -- that makes it look less good. If that's just a function of the screenshot and not of the actual way the game will look, then great.

hey cool thanks for the replys, yeah i dont like the buttons either,(whats a bit map button)hehe,,the original buttons were made to look like wood but as of yet i have tried to change the torque buttons (but will)

i dont know what you mean by the banding of the pic? do you mean the waves of light blue to darker blue?

Yeah, that's what I meant by banding. The original shows no banding and looks much better. Good job.

ok cool and thanks twistid1 did that in flash awhile back and its suposed to drop down the other five signs from the first one ,it was intended for the website front page but needs to be redone with custom sound. and will be re done be fore thr demo is finished. :)
