I don't always see eye-to-eye on everything that you and GG do (though I do on a lot of other things), but I do know your heart lies in the right place and that even though games I've worked on (like Trajectory Zone) haven't made it to the big-time, but the opportunity is there. And if I haven't thanked you and the GarageGames team lately, I do so now: Thank you for giving me the chance to do something I've dreampt of doing for the last 26 years--and with the upcoming and powerful TSE, a graphics engine comparable with almost any of the latest, but for hundreds of thousands of dollars less.

I didn't really want to get all gushy on you, but I did want to put it out there.

Sincerely,

P.S. Perhaps you might offer a set rate to evaluate and make suggestions for games. It would benefit both sides, and you'd always have the opportunity to waive the fees for those you like. It may not be an indepth playtesting, but even if you spent 30 minutes testing and 30 minutes writing an eval it'd be worth every bit of $100 (for example).
Just an idea.

I realize what your evaluation rate idea is aiming at, but I think it might create more problems than it solves.

Other than that, ditto.

Thanks GG.

I've always wanted to develop games for a living, or just as a 2nd job, but I didn't think I could without joining some big corporation.
You guys proved me wrong.
