Yes, does the Torque Shader Engine have the TGE built in, or do I need to get both.

TSE is a modified TGE.

TSE isn't an add-on to TGE? Funky...

It's sort of like having an old crappy Honda in your garage, and an experimental jet car... It's good to have the Honda to get to work with, but if you're careful you can get a whole lot more out of your jet car. ;) But they don't depend on one another.
As TSE matures, we'll change the requirements to reflect the situation, of course.

The reason to get both is that we want to encourage people who already use TGE to experiment with TSE. As it is still in an EA stage, not every part of it is working fully. If you have TGE, then you have a solid base to learn and experiment with... then you can apply that knowledge to get the most out of TSE.It's sort of like having an old crappy Honda in your garage, and an experimental jet car... And TGE is my baby... TSE is more Brian's.
Anyway... Hopefully my point is clear. TGE is an excellent product. It gets you where you need to go without hassle. It works. TSE is a lot more impressive but at the moment it'll take a little more care. Be aware of what you're getting yourself into, and you can ship awesome products with either one. There are a lot of happy Honda owners, and a lot of happy Ferrari owners in the world...

@Ben, So ok - TGE is like a Honda and TSE is like an experimental jet car. And since you work on TGE and drive a Honda, given that Brian works on TSE does that means that he drives an experimental jet car?And if so can I have a ride :)
