Where do I start?

I have just purchased both the Torque SDK and the Shader Engine, but the none of the tutorials seem to be of any help. I would like to make a multiplayer RPG game, but where do I start? Every tutorial I go to say i need other software, like 'jedit', 'Visual Studio C++', 'Milkshape'. To run that software I need to download or buy more software.
Can I create a game with Torque alone, if not, exactly what software do I need and is it expensive.
Are there any tutorials that do not require any previous experience in programming?

Your going to need to learn torque script before you get anywheres, after you learn to compile the engine.
the sp_starter kit wont teach ya how to compile, but it will show you some examples on how torque needs to work by compareing to the default demo

Your profile lists your only skill as "Gamer". You're going to have to become an artist, musician, or programmer. "Programmer" always seems like the likeliest choice, which is why alot of people do it - hence there's a lack of artists and musicians.
Of course, I have no artistic or musical talent whatsoever, but I'm a decent programmer. Hence, I would just be a nuisance as an artist or a musician.
As a programmer, you need a C++ compiler (such as Microsoft Visual C++) to compile Torque programs. As an artist or a musician, you need other software that I don't know enough to talk about.
The big advice that no one seems to have given you yet is that you'll have to make much simpler games before you can make a MMORPG. I'm sure it must say that somewhere in one of the links they gave you, but it's something that can't be said too many times. It's impossible to learn how to program (or whatever) over the course of a couple months and then be able to just sit down and make a MMORPG, which takes years for teams of professionals to create.
You can work in that direction though. So long as you keep moving forward, you'll get there eventually, though it probably won't be for a long while.

Jedit is a text editor. If you need a text editor, you can dowload a great shareware text editor from www.textpad.com. There's no time limit - it just has an anoying nag screen.Your profile lists your only skill as "Gamer". You're going to have to become an artist, musician, or programmer.
