Problem running the demo

I downloaded Torque and compiled it without any problem but when I go to the examples folder and run torquedemo_debug.exe, the console window comes up and nothing else happens. I am running Torque successfully on my laptop but have limited space on that machine.
I am running Microsoft XP and compiled with MS Visual .Net 2003. The graphics card is a Nividia GeForce FX 5200. I downloaded the latest drivers from the Nividia website but that didn't change anything.
There are no error messages so I don't know what to try next. Does this sound like a driver problem? Has anyone else had a similar problem?

I can try downloading again. Any other suggestions? Anyone?

I have a 5200 on this computer, and it runs really well. Make sure that you turn off Nview, NVkeystone, ETC, and turn antialiasing off, and change in the global driver settings in video settings to high performance.

Thanks Frogger. Antialiasing was set as "application controlled" so I turned that off and changed global driver settings to high performance. I don't think I have Nview running. I closed the icon on the taskbar. I still can't get torque to run. The console window comes up but the fps doesn't start. My drivers are the latest from the nvidea website. Are you running with the latest drivers? I'm downloading torque again now in case something went wrong with the download. Thanks for your suggestions.

Have you checked the console log?

Thanks Ben. I didn't know to look there. It appears that there are a number of missing files. I'm going to use a large portable drive to copy the files from my laptop to my desktop and try again. I only have a modem connection and some files appear not to have been copied.

That's lame. Best of luck getting things resolved. (Incidentally, as a modem user, you might want to get the installer so you don't have to muck with CVS?)
