I just bought your combo pack - all of the packs - and have a question:
Are there any missions that show off the work you have done and that we can use. I have tried to install everything as you instructed in your text file - but it is not enough.
For example, in the castle mission - which is not named castle or anything like that, when I run it - I only see the sandstorm and no buildings - first I fall a million feet - and the flickering grass (no grass texture) passes me by (now I HAVE gotten the grassy green, rust and ice environment missions to work after tweaking every texture in the built in terrain texture editor, but NOT the castle mission). I can physically place objects, buildings, etc all day - with their correct textures, but just for quick satisfaction, I cannot load a "scene" in that I can walk around and say "hmmmm, so that is what I bought (lol).
Is there any way to do that - to load a mission in and get excited enough to get started, seeing all your hard work. Right now, all I see is a GORGEOUS animated rust sky and a rust terrain. The textures and precompiled objects were copied as suggested and, as said before, DO load in fine when I place them in the built-in game world editor (after lighting the scene, of course). It's just that I REALLY want the satisfaction of walking through the town and castles you created and I purchased - not so that you do the work for me, but so that I see what is possible and just for the sheer fun of it. I hope you understand.
I have tried importing the terrain and textures - possibly I am simply too much a newbie to know better!!!
Please help. I even downloaded the free demo mission and get nothing there too. Of course, all the missions are named the same, so now I have three of everything!!! (too much trying out to see what would work) - it's a mess (lol again).
I appreciate any help you can give me. By the way, you are truly a master and your work is amazing and appreciated. As long as I can use them (namely, the know-how to do so), you will have a long time customer out of me.

As an update, I have been working with what I call the "grassland" environment - the one with the amazing grass and such - I have been placing outside objects and a few castle objects after flattening the terrain. Placing them is easy and actually quite fun. HOWEVER, I am getting numerous crashes. Now, it must be said that I am using the lighting pack by synapse, and at their suggestion, am using build 1.2.2 - even though I have a fully working compiled 1.3.0 version.
The lighting pack, for now, refuses to work in 1.3.0 in most cases, so I am using the 1.2.2 build. That said, I am getting crashes quite a bit AFTER trying to re-light the scene. Could this be all that grass?
Second, and this is ALL THE TIME - anytime I go above a certain elevation - instead of seeing swaying grass, I now see white flickering masses - is this the LOD not working? So, say for example I want a tower on a mountain - at the lower level where I placed a cemetary with a gallow (he he he) - the grass is quite beautiful, swaying in the coming storm (I love that). However, when I ascend to a taller height on the terrain - BOOM - white crap everywhere!!!
Thanks for any help on these two issues.

all the reame txt are the same for all packs and i thought maybe could have been the original setup for each single pack been included if there were different.
you cant just do as the readme says and expect to play the missions, there are a couple of typo,s like environment spelled as enviroment.
I am running 1.3 without the lighting pack (gonna buy the TSE asap)
i kinda managed to get the 1st and 3rd missions to play but you gotta go and setup the ground textures in the editor
also it doesnt say anything about NOT placing all the files in interiors and kinda hints that you already know where to put the files NOT referred to.
still cant get mis2 to play or the demo mis from the video.
if you look at the mis files, the difs are read directly from the interiors folder,so i took all the difs and subfolders from the recommender install to newfolder and dumped them straight into interiors.
took all the files from the environment/precompiled and put straight into environment,(check the typo in environment.cs)
details into the details
anyway to cut a long story short, the included missions are basically an added inclusion but a more detailed install setup would have helped a great deal.maybe a few more notes to say excactly what goes where.
or even dare i say,two types of install, seeing as how tim has used the starter.fps as the data folder a self installing.exe to a recommended fresh install of TGE for beginners, the veterans know what to do anyway.
btw, nice one tim,i was gonna e-mail you and lavish on you praises, but
hey i can do it right here.thank you for your awesome work...

I found the scripts dont tally for how the readme.txt advises how to install.all the reame txt are the same for all packs and i thought maybe could have been the original setup for each single pack been included if there were different.

We're interested in a site license for the Combo Pack... Otherwise, we can buy individual seat licenses... I would prefer a site license though... and am willing to pay for one, if it's a better deal.

The full instructions are in the readme.txt, I recommend reading it as it explains a lot.
The precompiled difs are located either in the /precompiled/ or /compiled/ directory depending on which content pack you have.
You put it wherever is appropriate for your Torque game, if your using a stock copy of torque, a good place would to be to put all the .DIF files & textures in ~/data/interiors/
