BreakLight animation

Can someone tell me how the breakLight animation of a vehicle is supposed to work? I just want a different texture on my lights when the brakes are applied. I added 2 keyframes to my animation helper, and on the model I animated the UV map... exported it, and.... nothing happens ;)
So, can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong here? Isn't it possible to animate the UVW? I know I'm supposed to use IFL's for animating textures, but i have no idea how to not have the IFL play during the other animations (springs and stuff).

Maybe I'm being dumb, but shouldn't the animation be called brakeLight, not breakLight?

Depends on what version of the code you have. It used to be called 'breaklight' in code (mis-spelled) . this was corrected at some point to be the correct 'brakelight' and this should be in the current version.

You are both right, first of all I didn't have the texture animation checkbox checked.... second I called it breakLight, just like someone said it should be somewhere in these forums. So thanks to both of you, it works fine now!
