Question about future of Torque licencing

Your Torque engine looks great, but I need reassurance that the licence agreement won't be changed. WildTangent had a great licence where for $500 the developer could create and then publish his game on the web. Any royalties paid to WildTangent were based on the sales of the game and how popular it became.
Many low-budget developers rushed to use their game engine and helped to iron-out bugs through the various beta versions. As soon as WildTangent released version 2 of Webdriver the licence agreement suddenly changed. They now require that new businesses publishing games made with Webdriver must pay $10,000 up front.
This move effectively shutout all those low-budget developers who helped Webdriver work. And when WildTangent partnered with Discreet (3D Studio Max) it became clear that from the beginning WildTangent never intended to support the low-budget developer.
Without insulting your staff I have to ask, can Garage Games guarantee its community of supporters that it will maintain the $100 licence?

Keep in mind, that we have always said we will have a Torque 2 or High Torque someday that may or may not have different licensing terms. However, we have a LOT of work left to be done on the current Torque, and are concentrating 100% of our efforts there for the forseeable future.
