Saving Terrain Editor changes

Howdy

I'm wondering whether I'm the only person who is having trouble saving terrain changes made in the Terrain Editor. By changes, I mean height. From within the editor I can make all the weird and wonderful modifications I like and they appear to work fine once I leave the editor, however, once they are saved and I exit from the engine and return all the changes are lost.

All heightfield and texture changes are saved, as is creating empty spaces and adding objects, it is only the fine-tuning of the terrain height that I am having trouble with. Presently, all my tweaking is being done via heightmaps, which, as you're all aware is a damn pain in the bum.

Anyone have any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Just a quick thought, go make sure that the old heightfield file isn't write protected.

i had the same problem
go to tree in the world editor and change the path and name of the terrain file at the Terrain - Terrain block
that should work and like that u dont delete the old map
