Alpha map problems..

I just bought TSE and I noticed somewhere that the specular highlighting is done through your alpha channel. When I tried to mess with this, it wouldnt work because for some reason my alpha channels aren't saving. I tried both the SuperPNG plugin and some other plugin that was installed with the DirectX SDK. Im using photoshop 7, and the alpha channel gets turned to complete white. Anyone know what to do?

make sure you rename the old png.8bi or move it somewhere.. if it is in the same folder, it will use that one ( the default) instead.

I was going to use TSE, but this sorta extended beyond just it. I also had this problem with other stuff as far as saving an alpha channel, TSE is just when I noticed i couldn't. ;)And thats for the help! I'll try it right away! :D
