Someone mentioned the indrema console in a thread a while back so I thought I'd take a look, go to idn.indrema.com type in indrema at google and it's the first site you get. Go to the developer section. You can register free to become a developer. Even if you don't join up as a developer they stilllet you download their API so if you have linux on your PC you can start developing for it straight away. It uses Mesa 3D for it's graphics, I've never used it before but I had a look and I think it just used the same commands as OpenGL. Anyway, take a look at their site, i seems really cool.

The indrema system looks interesting. I like the philosophy behind the system as well. When I was
starting to get into linux a few years ago, I wanted to start a game dev library (similar to directX) for
he Linux os. I never thought Linux game development would come this far so soon :). The indrema's
specs are comparable to the xbox, and they view the creation of content for thier system as the most
important factor in its success. I've signed up as a developer for the heck of it. I'm not sure if I'll be
doing anything for the system, but It sure sounds interesting.
