It's really not 'important,' but it's sort of been a tradition for marbler's to be recognized for contributions through-out the year at regular intervals-----sort of a 'pat on the back.'
No one person is more important than the other, so the 1000th post is just a formality. It really means 'good job everyone here for your contributions in making Marble Blast an even greater game.'
