3dsmax 4 importer

im very sure this question or others like it have been asked before but i could not find any information on it as i searched the forums, and again its obviosly about the (nothing directly related to toque) 'new' exporter for (the tribes dts file) 3dsmax 4 .
I am fairly new to 3d studio max 4 as ive only worked with it for atleast i month, i can build thing and have the 'basic' requirments to complete what i start. I just downloaded this exporter (v12 exporter for 3dsmax 4) but i cant export it because of a stupid problem, when i try to export something ive made, it says that i dont have a bounding box. Im confused, the bounding box is there, that thing that's surrounding the model (i know im wrong) and it still says it isnt there. i say again that im very new to this and i would be happy if someone could provide me with a resource or an explaination to solve this problem, thank you.

    The bounding box must be named 'bounds'

    Depending on what you mean by bounding box.
    Yes every mesh in 3dsmax has a bounding box by default but.....for the exporter you actually have to make a box object that totally surrounds the model and name this "bounds".
