You know Duke Nukem Forever should be done with Torque Game Engine they are never gonna finish it i think www.3drealms.com DNF started years years years away and still not finished perhap's becouse they didn't used far cry,dark basic or Torque there are over 10000 3D engine's but i suggest Torque is one good engine(they know C++ i suppose)if they started it and didn't finished it then why it has been started at all?

They started with (IIRC) the Quake2 engine, moved to the Unreal (1/1.5) engine and later started their own tech and began building the game off that. Well, more like a butchered Unreal since it was the core codebase that was hacked to bits in their spelunking :)

I don't know why it hasn't come out yet..
I remember the 2001 E3 Video.. It's a little graphically outdated... But their textures are good and it looked like they had really did alot to the game like heaps of maps that were shown, ability to ride vehicles...
Maybe they have alot of levels and textures done.... Maybe they are working on Shaders full potential and an uber physics engine..
I'm sure they have done a HELL of alot and have made a great game...
Why would their publisher still have the project?

When DNF comes out... It will be GOD!I don't know why it hasn't come out yet..

Maybe it's gonna be better then Doom III to me i tried Doom III and it's very horribill demon's attack from dark and red glowing eye's man that one is for A = Adult's it is for Adult's reason:18+ only.

Actually, I have a LOT more faith in them than I ever had in Ion Storm.

3DR are trying to keep this all under wraps until they know it is the best game out at the time...
3DR will win...
I dont think they have said 'Our product is near completion', its always been "Whens its done"..

Duke Nukem Forever can be forgoten it won't and never finish it is in the abandonware list.

Thaut that long.....Duke Nukem Forever isn't going to be rated nicely since Doom III camed out i suggest DNF is trashed cause Doom III is way better then DNF.

What an interesting and informed set of observations, Jean Pierre. I mean, since DNF has been released so that you can play through it and compair it to Doom III... wait, that's right. It hasn't been released. So, there's really not that much you can say positive or negative using comparisons to Doom III. (Note: Huge Doom III fan here, but we might as well be compairing DNF to Quake 4 - makes about as much sense as your previous statement.)

What he's saying, from what I understand, is.... they have been working so long on DNF that other games, such as Doom 3, will be way better than it by the time it gets released, so much so that it will be "trashed".... there's some grain of truth to that observation somewhere, I'm sure.... no need to bash him for not eloquently expressing what he was thinking...
