Does the Torque Demo that downloaded of the site garagegames is just be to present the engine Torque???
Doesn't any version demo or trial of the engine torque that it makes possible to use a little in the engine, to create some scripts, small games without. exe, for really to test?
Thanks for posts!

Is the demo that comes with the book the same of the site? (does it also have only 8 mb?)
This demonstration that I got in the site of the garagegames creates a shortcut for this presentation that I spoke, a shortcut for Home-page and a shortcut for uninstall of the demo. Nor in the pastes and directories where it is installed has any other executable. How can I create something and to test Engine like this?
Excuse, I am newbie with the Torque. I thank the help.

Excuse my ignorance. Are you telling me that I can create small games or part of games just with that demo of 8mb that I downloaded? Or is some other demoof the Torque that I don't know? Is the demo that comes with the book the same of the site? (does it also have only 8 mb?)

I think you can still download Realm Wars and mod away to your heart's content. It have all the scripts and editors etc.,

Next, select the FPS Multiplay Example.
Check Create server and push the right button at the bottom of the screen.
Once the level is loaded, press F11 to open the World Editor and F4 to open the World Editor Creator. This is where you will add new things to the world and adjust the properties of existing items. Play around and get to know the engine a little bit.
Ken's book has a LOT of excellent information and I consider it a "must have" reference for Torque, if only for the reference sections.
** EDIT: bolded options.

Peter, yes you can create games just with the demo (though you couldn't sell those games without purchasing an engine license). Definitely pick up Ken's book, if you are really interested in learning how to make a game. :) It covers game dev with Torque.
