Anyone have a suggestion for which hotel to stay at?
Does any of them have a hotel shuttle?

I'm staying at Best Value Inn for $43/night. They're close to downtown and have free DSL, refrigerator & microwave, and HBO. www.bestvalueinneugene.com

Yep, Best Value for me too (spotted it last year, seems in a safe area and is cheap as hell).

Anybody staying at the Days Inn Eugene? Travelocity can get me a good deal, but I'd like to be in a hotel with other conference attendees, so I'll pay more if I have to. Or, if this hotel sucks! :)Heh..Last minute, I know, but I have till midnight to get my $150 discount rate !!

I'll be in from the 29th (technically the 29th, but landing at 11:45pm seems like it would be more like 30th ;)

I'll be taking the 4-5 hour drive down to Eugene and need lodging for a couple nights. I can provide a car to anyone flying in, but I'm looking for anyone that can provide some floor sleeping space or would split costs on a room somewhere. I'm just a poor college student and can barely afford the ticket price, so don't have much to burn on lodging.

I already told them that there would be only one person when I made the reservation, but I cant imagine that having another person come in and sleep on the floor or a cot would be that big of a deal? (I've never had to book my own hotel room before, so I dont really know how these things work. :) )

@Paul: I'm a poor college student too. I have a reservation at the Best Value Inn for a single room. I'd be willing to share it and split the cost.I already told them that there would be only one person when I made the reservation, but I cant imagine that having another person come in and sleep on the floor or a cot would be that big of a deal? (I've never had to book my own hotel room before, so I dont really know how these things work. :) )

I'll be there from the 7th - 11th.
I'll also have a rental car, so if you reserve a room there and need a ride to the conference, let me know.
