Video menus

Can anyone point me in the right direction for having say, a flash animation, or something play in the background for a menu? I have static bitmap backgrounds, but i would like something that grabs the user's attention more. I just haven't figured out how to use animations/movies for menu backdrops.

Has a bit of swapping problems if you use fullscreen 640x480 and above and if you don't have enough RAM so I really don't recommend it for that.

I'm planning on using Melv's Torque 2D for things that it was never meant to do.Which is part of the fun!
