A bit larger than normal Sun?

I am trying to get a big noticable sun into my scene but havent really narrowed down what I need to change or adjust.

Heres what I tried so far...

A larger Png file for the Sunflare images 256, 512 etc

Results at first were those rotating squares heh but I got rid of those by adjusting the colors since i just did a old blowup the image size in photoshop method.

The Scale options on the Sun object

Results didnt notice a thing actually.

I can alter the colors just find adjusting the RGB values but I just need to get the sun a bit more imposing looking in the sky.

Just need a point to what I should be dabbling with.

Erm, you mean the fxSunlight object? You can adjust the size of the flair in the editor. I believe the value is called "FlareSize." This can also be animated with the animation keys.

The Sun object itself doesn't make a flare at all, in fact I believe it's totally invisible. (Other than as a general directional lightsource.)
