Root base pose?

Can anyone tell me what the scoop is with lookde.dsq, and head.dsq?
I have add anims to my animation sequences in lightwave.
I am using the LW2DTS from www.gnometech.com, and in the
exporter it give me a entry box for Blend Referrence frame.
I choose both lookde and head to be blend anims, and select
the reference frame as frame 2, this is where my root.dsq
starts. when I load in SHOW, the lookde, and head .dsq are
screwed up. the model isn't in the root pose, but the original
mesh pose( legs straight, and arms at 45 degree between
shoulder and legs).
When I play the anim, the arms are all funky, and the head anim
the body is same, and head is tilted doing the up down look.
thanks to whoever can help,
