Yeah, I agree.

Something to be aware of anyway.

I'm pretty sure it's been mentioned on the forums - do a search and you may find earlier conversations.

We've used it for a contracted stuff like a "dancing girl" Winamp plugin and a 3D screensaver that should be out soon.

It's a nice engine with really smooth visuals, although I do have to say that coming from a "linear", code-based method of programming, the method that Quest3D uses is pretty confusing to get up and running with. I suppose if someone had no experience in coding they may find it easy, but being so ingrained in a text-based method and then having to completely switch gears to a visual-based drag-and-drop method I found it frustrating to get up to speed.

Once you get things figured out it's easy to use, but I personally find myself in a state of constant "OK, now how the hell do I do this???!" mode, lol. It's probably just me, but there you go.

Other than that, I'm really happy with the engine, and it definitely allows for speedy development once you take off. Great for the types of stuff we find ourselves more and more being asked to do. I'm not sure how it would fare for a full-on game but for smaller 3D projects with a tiny footprint it's great.
