Oh, man.... please stop the spam!

I'm sure blood will be pouring out of people eyes in the next few days as they read all the spam with shamless plugs for Game Beavers. I appologize in advance, but Beaver Patrol 1.3 Alpha is out and its got some cool features. Feel free to use any / all the code in your own game. We have included a patch for the latest TGE 1.2.2 head.

Its got quite a few features and although its definatley still alpha its not bad, its getting closer to a real game very day. We fixed the web site and things are starting to roll again.

Hmmm.... you seemed to add a few nice features...

I still hate that damn jump though!!!

Good feedback. We toned down the jump a bit. We added in an air control resource for the jump, but neglected to make it configurable in script. Will get to it some day soon.

@Britton: In the future, you might want to chose a forum topic that has *something* to do with Game Beavers or the Game Beavers concept.

Yes that is true, Josh. Placing it in a completely unrelated forum with a topic and referring to spam is in bad form.

Josh, yeah dude and we could use your tallent too! No problem on using the interiors as long as they are not made opensource, we need them to recuit new members. We'll take you at your word if you want to join us and help out, feel free to download them and start using them. You may need to modify a setting or to in the engine code if you use the castle. Stefan Rampp went into great detail on it and has some very fine width's specified in the diff files.

We compiled in the change and its listed in the diff file under BeaverPatrol\TGEPatch\beaver_engine_patch_1_3.diff

The license agreements are for the art content and there is plenty of info on GameBeavers

In a nut shell if you join Game Beavers and contribute you own it all. Their are no royalties and you become an owner of the non profit company that has the rights to the artistic work. The code is free to use for all GG TGE SDK owners. Its a collaborative site for indendent gamers to work together and share resources. 90% of the code came from resources here on GG. It makes sense to give something back to the people who helped make it happen and could make the best use of it.
