Torque Demo bug

I don't know if this is just my video card but the NEW torque demo (with 1.1) when i go to console, switch back, my mouse stays there and i have control of the mouse which means i can't control my direction the player moves in. Now one time it worked fine untill i went pack and tried to get teh fps counter. Anyone know why?
